Default Guild build, need experience gvg-er advice!

2 Wars(1cripslash 1 exercutioner axe), 1 ele - blind bot, 1 ele running e/mo sor flag runner, 1 mes, 1 BA ranger, 2 monk

ok guys, this is the current gvg build we r planning to run.
i understand that copying a build n running it in a real gvg is totally different.

so, i was hoping u guys who gvg with such similiar build to lent some advice on e different position, role as well as tactics we can use w this.

sorri to u guys if the build looks sketchy, but i will update this forum once i get more info..

Looks good! It's going to take some practice, but running a decent build like that will be well worth it in the long run. Good luck!

try using http://gwshack.us to actually type out the build (all skills used) so we can actually give some decent feedback.

we run similar, but crip shot plus screaming over the burning arrow (no res sig), and melandru's instead of crip slash, the evis warrior takes shock. (mes is MoR with shatter hex, eles both take aegis, blind bot also has convert)

It tends to be that the ranger almost always splits, but in flag stand situations, the snare is much better than the extra dmg from burning, and in skirmish you lose some dmg but gain great utility. (and crip shots block avoiding properties can be hax in ensuring a boost ahead of time on aegis /WoW RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO flag runners.

Still we play on the Isle of meditation, and the ranger keeps the top stand then hassles NPCs. The tactic is less viable elsewhere. Basically if you're taking a BA ranger or variant, you're planning on splitting to some degree at some point in the game. I find that newer guilds put such templates in to be able to react to a split, whilst more experienced guilds do so to cause another team to react. General gist, if you're good enough not to die to NPCs fight the scrim in their base not yours, nowt better than ganking archers AND tieing up flag runners at the same time.

Burning arrow is actually really great in the mainfight, it allows for that extra bit of punch in the spike.

Everyone's taking SoR now, and with good reason. But i've always been a fan of shatterstone for the same reason as i'm a fan of burning arrow. It's spiking power is great, and in VoD you can simply headshot people! Too bad our ele and guildleader think differently

whats the difference in armour ignoring dmg between screaming shot and burning arrow again?

and our ele runs ice spikes and freezing gust.
